View a gpx file in Google Earth
If you are viewing the Photo Gallery in Mozilla Firefox or Google
Chrome:
- Click on the Here to Download the file link on
the photo page. It will appear in a new browser window as lines of
text.
- Save the file (as text file if asked), but keep the extension .gpx.
Use File, Save as in top left corner of browser.
If there is no File menu in the top left corner of the browser
window, right click anywhere in the document, then choose Save
as from the drop down list.
- Open Google Earth.
- In the top left corner of the Google Earth window, click on File,
Open - choose gps file from File Type list
at bottom right of the window
- Choose the file you have saved and it will open in Google Earth.
