Walk description:

Blue Mountains NP
Grose Valley Rim Walk - 21 Lookouts: Park half the vehicles at the Pulpit Rock Car Park and the others at Evans Lookout Car Park. Walk the track visiting each of the 21 lookouts on the way. Going via the Pulpit Rock Track and Cliff Top Track. Limit 12. (Walk 21 in The Upper Grose Valley book). Maps Katoomba and Mount Wilson.

Report:

The weather was a typical Blue Mountains winter day; a misty morning, evolving into a cloudy day with occasional light rain and some brilliant sunshine during the late lunch break. Temperature 6 to 12 degrees C.

The lookouts visited during our walk included John Harris Lookout, Lizard Rock. Evans Lookout Valley View Lookout or Bradshaw Lookout, Barrow Lookout, Cullen Lookout. Govetts Leap Lookout, George Phillips Lookout, Laws Lookout, Two Falls Lookout, Rodriguez Lookout, Horseshoe Falls Lookout, Moss Lookout. Bradleys Lookout, Cripps Lookout, Twin Falls Lookout. Boyd Lookout, Scandritt Lookout, Fox Lookout culminating at Pulpit Rock Lookout.

Other sites visited included the cascades on the Braeside Creek; Boyds Beach in Popes Glen; The Churchill Bridge site; The Lyre Bird Cave. Full historical details were shared during the walk.
